Pools and Splash Pads in Vero Beach & Sebastian - Updated Fall Hours

Looking to swim or splash in Indian River County? Here's where to go!

The weather is warming up, so it's time to hit the water again! We've got a complete list of splash pads and pools in Vero Beach and Sebastian. Click on each facility for more information. 

Notice: We advise always checking with the facility before heading out as hours can change due to many factors such as weather, maintenance, swim meets, or holidays.



Fountains at Royal Palm Pointe

Fall Hours (Starting August 12): Saturday and Sunday only from 10 am - 3 pm

Will open for SDIRC spring break - always closed on Tuesdays 

Admission Price: Free

What to Expect: Large fountain play area with lots of grassy areas to lay out or picnic. Please be aware that there is limited shade. This facility has picnic tables and restrooms. Please note that the fountains are powerful and large, and it is quite loud in the middle. 


Gifford Aquatic Center

Fall Hours (Starts August 12): Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 6 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday 12 - 5 pm, Closed on Mondays 

Admission Price: Daily weekday rates are as follows: ages 0 - 2 are free, ages 3 - 12 are $3.21, ages 13 - 54 are $4.28, and ages 55+ are $3.21. The weekend and holiday rate is $3.00 + tax for everyone over the age of 3. One-month, three-month, and annual passes are available. Click here to see those rates.

What to Expect: Zero-depth entry pool with a deep end of 4'6", two enclosed dueling slides, and a splash pad area. There are also six lanes for lap swimming and a multi-purpose room that is available for rent.

Dates and Hours: Monthly calendars are available at the front desk. Open swim hours vary by day. 

Admission Price: Daily guest fees are $6 for adults and $4 for youth. One-month, six-month, and annual memberships are available. Call or pick up a rate sheet from the front desk for pricing details. City residents get a discounted rate. 

What to Expect: The pool has lanes for lap swimming and a deep area. Water aerobic classes are offered. There is a gazebo by the pool and restrooms/changing rooms. There is also a gym on-site, and membership to the pool includes a gym membership. 


McKee Botanical Garden - Children's Garden Splash Pad

Dates and Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 4:30 pm and Sundays 12 - 4:30 pm. Last ticket sold at 4 pm. 

Admission Price: Access to the Children's Garden and splash pad is included in annual membership and general admission. General admission is $15 for adults, $13 for teens, and $10 for children (children under 2 are free). Admission includes access to the entire Garden. 

What to Expect: Naturalistic splash pad surrounded by plants and nestled in the Children's Garden. The Children's Garden includes a pirate ship play area. Nice family restrooms are located right next to the splash pad. We suggest wearing bug spray/protection, especially if you are visiting during the summer.

Activity Pool Fall Hours (August 12 - September 22): Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm and Sundays 12 - 5 pm 

Activity Pool will reopen in March 2025 

Lap Pool Fall Hours (Starts August 12): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6 am - 6 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9 am - 6 pm, Saturday 9 am - 5 pm, and Sunday 12 - 5 pm. 

*Sept 2 Memorial Day Hours: 10 am - 3 pm

Admission Price: Daily rates are as follows: ages 0 - 2 are free, ages 3 - 12 are $3.21 when the activity pool is closed and $5.35 when the activity pool is open, ages 13-54 are $6.88, and ages 55+ are $3.21. One-month, three-month, and annual passes are available. Click here to see those rates.

What to Expect: The zero-depth entry activity pool features dueling slides, a water tree, and a play structure with a small slide, tunnel, and water cannons. There is also a lap pool and diving boards. There are lifeguards stationed all over. This is one of our favorite summer activities! 


Sebastian Splash Pad at Riverview Park

What to Expect: The splash pad has sprayers, small fountains, and other water features for kids to play in. It is ideal for young children. It is fully fenced, has restrooms, and has benches under awnings.
