The Vero Beach Museum of Art is planning an active course schedule to delight students aged 5 -16 years at this year’s Summer Art Camp 2023 beginning the week of June 5th. The Museum offers eight one-week sessions with over 45 classes taught by professional artists and art educators, offering a creative environment for budding artists of all levels to explore new ideas, develop skills, and build self-esteem through art. This year our Young Artist Intensives are designed for students looking for a mini-course on a specific medium designed to build their skills and artist portfolio.

Creatively themed weekly sessions around nature and travel will take campers through the Museum’s galleries and into the art studios. Campers will explore artworks from the special exhibition on view Treasure Coast Creates: A Tribute to Local Artists, and artworks featured in the Museum’s permanent collection each week.

This year’s VBMA faculty will include Sandy Bachmann, Camy De Mario, Tina Floyd, Kent Johnson, Terry Parker, and Sophia Strazinsky. Full biographies are available on the Museum’s website.

Registration forms and class brochures are available at the Vero Beach Museum of Art or from the Museum’s website, www.vbmuseum.org. Parents can download camp registration forms and provide payment info to be mailed or delivered to the Museum. Registration is open.

Scholarships are available.
