Indian River STEAM Fest is returning to Vero Beach on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This one-of-a-kind family festival will bring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into the hands of K-12 students in Indian River County and beyond. STEAM Fest’s mission is to provide the opportunity for children to experience STEAM firsthand with the hope it will translate into a future career.
The event will take place rain or shine in the Intergenerational (iG) Recreation Center on Oslo Road in Vero Beach. The entry fee is $8 per person with children aged two and under free of charge. Food will be available for purchase. Families are encouraged to purchase tickets online at www.indianriversteamfest.com. An online purchase affords each child the opportunity to reserve limited-capacity art classes.
All participants will enjoy over 60 hands-on exhibits by groups like the National Weather Service, Oxbo Eco Center, FAU Harbor Branch, and many more. This year’s event also features a number of exciting offerings such as:
- Eight, unique art classes lead by local art teachers
- Immersive Virtual Reality Encounter by Synergy Vocational School K-12
- Art and Conservation by Guy Harvey Foundation
- Live Show, “Energy Endgame”, by Florida Power & Light
- All-day art experience by Vero Beach Art Museum
- Featured group exhibits by Florida Tech’s Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovative Design(CAMID), Patrick Space Force Base’s Air Force Technical Applications Center, and Indian River County
