About Me
I am a lifelong resident of Vero Beach! I graduated from University of Florida (Go Gators!) and returned home to settle down. I taught elementary school in our community for seven years, and became a stay-at-home mom when my second child was born. I have two awesome young children and an adorable dachshund. My husband Nick is also a lifelong Vero resident, and is the graphic designer at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. He also owns a graphic design & photography business, Skyward Creative. . We love our community and seeing it thrive! I'm passionate about creating fun memories with my family, but also keeping life as simple as possible. I want to help simplify your life by collecting all of the best family-friendly activities, events, ideas, locations, and businesses in ONE easy-to-use place! That's why I'm so excited to be publisher for the Vero Beach/Sebastian edition of Macaroni KID.
