Our Day at Countryside Family Farms' Fall Festival and Maze

There is one more weekend to attend this festival!

This article was originally published in October 2022. We attended the festival this year and enjoyed all of these activities again! This year my kids were old enough to brave the corn maze, and they loved that adventure. There is one more weekend to visit the Festival: Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th.

This month our family visited Countryside Family Farms' Fall Festival and Maze on opening weekend. This is the third year we have attended, and it has definitely become our fall family tradition. We spent about four hours here (!), and we all left exhausted but happy.

We kicked things off with a romp in the corn pit, followed by a few trips on the train ride! Thankfully it wasn't over-crowded the day we visited, so we didn't have long lines to contend with. My husband rode in the caboose with our younger child and captured this great image.

Do you think he's having fun yet? 😉 The next stop was the "duck races", which feature old-fashioned water pumps. This was a surprisingly big hit! I love that they are still at an age where they're entertained by simple things.

We stopped to play in the rat rollers and took a few spins on the man-powered mower-go-round. There were lots of games scattered around to enjoy, such as basketball, corn hole, and giant chess.

We then headed to one of the most popular activities, the giant jumping pillow! If there's a long line, this is a perfect time to grab a cool treat while you're waiting. My husband got on with our minis, and all the kids had a great time bouncing! I would recommend going on with younger kids who might get nervous. My son was also SO excited to shoot the air cannon this year! He had never done it before, and he asked to do it as soon as we told him we were going to Countryside. How do they remember these things, but not where their shoes are?!

My son braved the zip line for the first time this year, and there is a new toddler zip line that was perfect for my daughter! We meandered back to the corn maze area and enjoyed coloring all over the chalk car. We didn't go through the corn maze, but we enjoyed the "hayride" around the field (yay for sitting down for a few minutes!).

At some point in the day, we took a lunch break AND a snow cone break AND an orange slushy break (so yummy!). There is plenty of food and treats there to satisfy the whole family, and there are picnic tables so that you can rest your feet. I highly recommend the vanilla and orange swirled ice cream or the orange slushy!

Tickets are about $18 per person when purchased at the gate, or you can purchase them online at a discounted rate. If you plan ahead for next year, you can take advantage of the flash sale on their website in the weeks leading up to the festival. I need to set a calendar alert now!

Don't miss out: there is one more weekend to visit the Festival! Visit on Saturday, November 4th, or Sunday, November 5th from 10 am - 5 pm.

We love having Countryside Citrus Family Farms in Vero Beach, and we look forward to kicking off fall with this event every year. I can't wait to see how my kids have changed and what new things they will gravitate towards when we attend next year.
